Se casó con Toni Esteve Enrich, gerente de la empresa Esteve Aguilera, fundada en 1924 y constituida como SA en 1965. Al cabo de unos años, cuando sus hijos habían crecido, comenzó a dedicarse al diseño de productos, principalmente jerseys de punto[4].
Creó sus propios diseños. La prematura muerte de su marido Toni en 1984 cambió sus planes. Su suegro decidió nombrarla directora de la empresa[1] A partir de 1989, la empresa acudió a numerosas ferias de moda para presentar las nuevas colecciones, como los Salones Gaudí de Barcelona, la Pasarela Cibeles de Madrid, Bread & Butter de Alemania y Barcelona, The Brandery de Barcelona, Premium (Berlín), Gallery (Copenhague), Coterie (Nueva York) y Modefabriek, Who’s Next y Paris sur Mode (París). [3] La empresa sustituyó la marca original Esteve, por Sita Murt, y abrió varias tiendas directas y una tienda outlet en Igualada. Sus diseños son comercializados por la empresa Esteve Aguilera SA que produce más de 200.000 camisetas y otras prendas al año,[1][5]
